PARTLY INTEGRATED CAMPERS WITH A HEIGTENED BODY STRUCTURE

Partly integrated campers with a heightened body structure

The campers of this group are recongnizable from far away due to their traditional “bubble” above the driver’s cabin, in which two full-sized sleeping spaces are located. Just as the low profile partly integrated camper, the heigthened body structure livable vehicle is made in the result of redesigning a more serious base bus or chassis with a cabin in a specialized camper factory. Thanks to the fact that the liveable space structure is fully made anew as a rectangular space, significant cenitmeters are acquired in all directions, and the space is usable in a more productive way, comparing it to a “well-equpped” cargo bus. The majority of heightened models also qualify for the 3,5 ton weight limitation, and for legal handling of the vehicle, only a simple B category driver’s license is required. However, the handling in this case closely resembles handling either a traffic bus, even if a small one, or a specialized vehicle with a heightened weight center and body structure height, both of which may not “fit” in seperate road or transport infrastructure section’s height limitations. This aspect must be taken into acount when planning routes. Seats – four to six. A good choice for larger families or for two couples with two children to have travel trips with real comfort. Size matters. In this case that means more comfort, convenient sleeping places for all the travelers, and more free space. However, that is in exchange for a slower driving speed, bigger fuel consumption (due to air resistance), and possible height limitations. That stands especially true for mountain roads, that may have prohibitions to navigate with a camper. Campervans can navigate through such places safely, the same goes for low profile partly integrated campers, but heightened body structure campers will definitely be staying in the nearast camper park.

This type of camper is a more serious investment, which is meant for a longer expluatation time compared with campervans. In most cases, purchase of this sort is usually planned in a timely manner because in reality, each vehicle is prepared using an individual set for the particular client. The assembly of all the equipment for every new camper is a time consuming process, during which it is needed to concentrate deeply on tens of equipment positions because, unlike light vehicles or commercial busses, campers have incomparably more individually configurable positions, all of which will influence the usage funcionality and comfort, as well as the value of the vehicle, and re-sale price in the grey market.

In this class, KEMPERUCENTRS four classic SUNLIGHT brand campers – 4-seater A60 and 6-seaters A68, A70, and A72. All conform to the 3500 kg weight limit, and can be handled with a B category driver’s license. All of the vehicles use the FIAT’s commercial transport frame, suspension, and engine (120 hp Multi Jet turbodiesel) as base.
